For the Canile di Saluggia dog shelter I built a new WordPress website, free of charge. The goal wasn't numbers, but to give the people who care for the animals a tool that's simple to manage on their own.
Some projects aren't about a return — they're done because they're the right thing to do. For the Canile di Saluggia I donated a new WordPress site: a clear, welcoming space to tell the shelter's story and give visibility to the animals looking for a family.
The heart of the project was autonomy. I set up a simplified management so volunteers — with no technical skills and without depending on anyone — can update the site themselves: add dogs up for adoption, post news, keep everything alive over time.
Donating the work means the shelter's resources stay with the animals. The site is a tool the association truly owns and can keep going on its own, with no recurring management costs.
I build custom WordPress and static sites: if you like, see how I work on websites.
